  • Hey, I was a lurker but infrequent poster on that other forum.  Actually right before the site changed hands I was struggling with deciding whether to buy a new pit or just get out of the pellet game and use my gas grill.  I'm the guy from Omaha that ended up giving away my GMG DB to someone on the forum and bought a Blaz'n.  Well I love it.  Every smoke so far has been perfect.  the temperature is dead on and I just could not be happier.  I think I'm going to throw some ribs on this weekend.  Last time I pulled them a bit too early but that was my fault.  I want a do over.  I can't wait to do a turkey on it next month.

I just wanted to say thanks for the advice I got prior to my purchase.

  • Glad to hear you hung in there and gave another unit a chance and that you have been rewarded with cooks that match what you expect from your unit. With the cost of these units, a bad experience could possibly scare many from giving it another try, especially when upping the ante for a more expensive unit. :bbq:

  • Welcome.  Your Blaz'n will just get better and better as you use it.  Mine has been a great source of good tastes.  Turkey time coming.  You can either smoke one or do a traditional cook on it (without heating  up the kitchen.).  Best wishes to you.
