Going to a higher R P M will feed more pellets. Should heat-up faster and generate a higher max temp. Will disturb the smoke settings and low temps. Remember, the controller goes into smoke mode once
the set temperature is reached. In smoke mode, the augers pauses for 15 seconds. Depending on the controller you have, the auger run time is either adjustable (" P " setting) or fixed.
An other negative is the potential weakness of the higher R P M gearbox.
