  • If someone is inferring that, they are goofier than a pet coon. Please tell me that isn't the case.

  • Congrats FMT.    I suspect the Russians tainted the results. :-\

I would like to add that I would be happy to participate in additional similar product trials/raffles, it was fun to be involved and watch the results.    Thanks for making it happen!

  • Congratulations FMT, can't wait to see what you are going to cook in it.

I to would be interested in other deals like this with tickets to purchase products.

Thanks to all that put this together.

  • And maybe you will do me a favor and you will have something I did not that will fit in it to do the sear on a piece of meat?  I know that is asking a lot, since I hosed Just David...And if you really wanna help a brother out, the Fat Mall Pretzels!

I'd like to take a look at the unit, and do some cooks.

This may sound funny (and I'm sure the internet could tell me if I wasn't so lazy), but I'd like to see if it would be possible to use this for other purposes - like reverse searing a steak after taking it off the pellet grill.

I've never made 800 degree pretzels, but I'll look into it. I'll throw a few things at it. May try a thick pizza just for kicks. Pretty sure I can find something out for a sear. Any idea if a half sheet pan would fit? I did a reverse sear that way in the Blackstone. If I get really ambitious, I may be able to do a side by side.

I also hope that this continues for others to win other (maybe even bigger ) prizes.

  • Is a sheet pan like a cookie sheet?  If so, no.  And on the pretzels, I was thinking maybe you would have the patience to babysit it and keep it around 400°...but I don't blame you if you don't cuz I didnt!

  • I’d be real interested in your pizzas side by side with the blackstone and the uuni:)

I can do a couple like that. I can maybe do a 55% hydration versus a 62% since we talked about that as well. I have to order some 00 since I've gotten away from that as well. I maybe can do some comparison of my dough versus strictly 00 too. I've been making a 50/50 high gluten/bread flour mix for awhile now that I've been happy with.

    It's a half cookie sheet. It's approximately 13 x 10.
