  • Other than a few turnovers before halftime,  the Wolverines  whooped on those Gators. Woo whooo.

  • Yeah, Florida looked bad.  But everyone this weekend who played a somewhat "equal" opponent, as opposed to a cupcake, showed some rough spots and flaws that need to be smoothed out.

  • Now I wish I didn't go to bed before the TN/GT game ended last night.  That must have been a thriller.

  • OK Z, hope you see this post.

Bent tells me that Fresno State plays the Golden Gophers next year in Minneapolis, so I see another FSU road trip in our future (although a bit of a distant future being Sept 2018). Do you Minnesotans tailgate?  We can bring a generator and tables if you can bring a Memphis pit!!!!

  • Sorry Bentley...

    Huskies - 48
    Fresno St - 16

1 point more than the Tide difference.

The deal breaker was Dante' Pettis. This kid is phenomenal. 3 Receiving TD's, and a Pac 8/10/12 record breaking, NCAA tying 8th punt return for a TD.
It was also a NCAA tying 3rd game in a row with a return for a TD.

He's not the biggest, nor the fastest, nor the most explosive. But he has elements of all 3. He's scary good at what he does. Of course his team mates all help make this possible. 11 guys on the field and every fan is saying "kick it to Dante'. Please!"  And they do.  ???

9 games at least left to play, so I'm pretty sure there's another NCAA record that will fall. Unless everyone stops kicking to him. That opens up another stratagem. Hehehe...

    Go Huskies! W

  • We just have no way to watch the games back here!

I am going to assume out matched would be the only word that comes to mind if I had seen it, that certainly was it in Alabama.  Will see over the next 3 years if coaching can close that gap...as I just never see FSU getting that same recruit as those schools.  Not trying to be mean...but you ask the recruit...you wanna go to Alabama or FSU...Wanna go to Washington or FSU?

Sorry, I already know that answer!

  • Hey Trooper, how bout them Spartans!

  • Meanwhile... the Pac 12 gets dissed repeatedly by the TV gods (at our own ignorance and greed for cash).

My Huskies have played 6 games after 5:00 PM eastern (all of them). 4 of them were after 7:00 PM.  >:(
How many members here will stay up to watch a Pac 12 football game that starts at 10 o'clock (it's dark outside) eastern time?

This never used to be an issue until the creation of the Pac12 Netwerk. May a pox be on their house forever. These  :puke:'s need a swift kick in the teeth. It does Nothing for the conference (cept the money part), and diminishes the level of talent the conference has.

Point... Alabama beats Fresno State and it's a worthy win. Washington beats Fresno State (by a larger margin than Bama) and it's a cupcake win.  ::)

Take me back to 12:30 starts for every game and a dozen bowl games at the end of the season.

Why does everyone get a sticker/bowl game because they won 7 outta 12 games? ???

    Rant off....

  • This is the deal over here at this household
The little lady was born and raised in Ann Arbor. She's the one from there. I ain't from there

I made a DVD recording of the game and she made it absolutely clear that she is NOT interested in watching the game again this afternoon. I'm sure I'll have it on.

    Go Green

Also, I'm interested in maybe attending a tailgate function in Minnesota if one develops. I wanna get over & visit Al as well.
Tailgating is very big in E.Lansing and most feel that the pregame gatherings are sometimes better than the game itself.

It does my heart good when 'M' loses. And better yet when State beats them!

  • Through Pelletheads.com and now continue with Pellet Fan...I have come to root for Michigan St, Wisconsin, Minnesota, Washington and Nebraska, when they are not playing my Dogs!...last tailgate I would have been at was probably sometime around 2009 in Fresno...log time!  So I am hoping we can make one work in In Minneapolis in Sept of 2018!

  • Hey how about them Ducks...... really 70 to 21. I still root for them but Geez they are making it hard this year.
