  • Well,  I have finally come to a decision on my method for searing my food after the sous-vide process.  I can't wait to try it.  Here is a link to see it in action.

  • That's quite a gadget and only $19.95 at Harbor Freight. I do not know if it's true or not, but I've read that propane adds an odd flavor to the meat, if I use a torch, it's butane. BTW, I like my steaks seared a bit more than that clip shows, not charred, but more than that.

  • Have watched a bunch of their vids, Ninja has the idea, he doesn't do anything, and eats first.

  • That is the way I do it.  I need to get a propane burner to sear outside in a cast iron pan...just too much smoke inside.

  • You could also clean the ice off of your steps with that to.

  • The one in my garage works really well on dead, dry weeds.  Makes the area very clean and nice looking after a nice rain!
