Can anyone direct me to a video or instructions on how to replace the hot rod on the Super Hog?

Have you checked the Country Smoker site?  Or called Danson Tech Support?  They could probably point you to some help.  It usually is just a set screw to loosen to get old rod out, then snake new one out with old one and connect!

try this. It is for a Louisiana grill, But I believe they share the same internals.

Just the hopper unit on the right is a mirrored left.

Looks like an easy changeout.

Note: Before the Danson company 'redesign' - Louisiana Grill was the Chinese version of the Canadian built Country Smoker line of grills/smokers.
