 Just got the news from Traeger. These are completely new, small portable, tailgating  type grills..  Most interesting.

At first glance - appears to be a cheapened/updated versions on the PTG.. 

stamped/formed steel case..

updated controllers..

1 with more btu output 36k, different type of controller, bigger hopper capacity and a griddle.

the other - an updated PTG, 20k btu, with an updated controller with meat probe...

Will be interested to see these in person and out in the wild..

This was in my e-mail this AM.

The Ranger weighs as much as my Jr. Elite.  :o  It claims it will hold a rack of ribs, where that barely fits in mine. I spose ya could do it, but that would be pretty tight quarters.

Very interested in the digital arc controller.  Maybe they will make that available as an upgrade.  Anyone have info on it?
