Title: New Extended Range Meater Probe

I just received an email about a new version of the single probe Meater. Called the Meater+.

It uses the charger as a Bluetooth repeater. The phone then connects to the charger, extending the range to up to 165 ft.

Unfortunately the cost is $99.

the iGrill convinced me that bluetooth isn't the answer for longer range.

I'm waiting to get my Meater block but I've ben very happy with the Fireboard in the meantime.

Bluetooth is not ideal unless it can extend to WiFi.
