I have really liked using the Lumberjack Competition Blend of Maple, Hickory and Cherry over the last couple of years. I have always had great cook results and they seem to work on chicken, beef, and pork. I guess someone must have been thinking of me as I am able to get 40 lb bags of this for $15. My local dealer does not stock it so I've had buy bags of each and mix them. Had a friend let me know his local dealer just got a pallet of competition blend and was selling them for $15. Great price so I am getting 10 bags as that was all he had left. He is also getting me a bag of maple as I have a bag of hickory and cherry yet. So I will be set for a good portion of the year with around 520 lbs of pellets.

You bought them all! It's a good thing you did before the hoarders got there. :)
BTW, did you post this just to make me envious? :)
