Title: PG 1000 problem
Post by: dieselr88 on May 04, 2019, 10:16:27 AM
6 years old - not one problem until recently. Turned on, noticed after 15 minutes it still hadn’t ignited. Igniter on but pellets weren’t being fed by the auger. Checked voltage to auger, nothing, wiring/connections good. Wired auger direct - auger good. Called Cookshack, explained what I found and that I suspect the auger relay on the control board was bad. They were surprised the board failed and promptly shipped new board - no charge. I offered to pay but they said it shouldn’t have failed that soon. Installed the board, and we’re back in business. Hats off to them for going above and beyond with stellar customer service!!

Excellent, my limited interaction with them has also been very positive.    Great company, great products!
