Title: PG 1000 problem
Post by: dieselr88 on May 04, 2019, 10:16:27 AM: 6 years old - not one problem until recently. Turned on, noticed after 15 minutes it still hadnâ€™t ignited. Igniter on but pellets werenâ€™t being fed by the auger. Checked voltage to auger, nothing, wiring/connections good. Wired auger direct - auger good. Called Cookshack, explained what I found and that I suspect the auger relay on the control board was bad. They were surprised the board failed and promptly shipped new board - no charge. I offered to pay but they said it shouldnâ€™t have failed that soon. Installed the board, and weâ€™re back in business. Hats off to them for going above and beyond with stellar customer service!!
