Title: YAMAC (Yet another Mac and Cheese)
Post by: 02ebz06 on August 03, 2020, 03:39:22 PM
Similar to BigDave's
Easy to modify to your liking.

EDIT:  I was going down looking at other recipes in this section and found LowSloFoShow's recipe for Mac and Cheese.
This one  99% the same as LowSloFoShow's. DOH!!!

I do the same thing but quit using the butter.  It was too greasy.  I also like throwing a spicy cheese in the mix or throw in some chipotle pepper flakes.

It's a good recipe, and easy to personalize.
We throw green chili in. Sometimes bacon.
Living in New Mexico, that's a must. Haha

Any Fast Food joint here will have a green chili burger. Same for pizza places. Green chili is a topping.

I also left most of the butter out.

I can't take credit for that, it was on a gun forum  long time ago, and it worked out well.

There was pumpkin cheese cake also I will hve to find the recipe for, people seem to love it, I have to make about 6 of them through the holidays.

I went and found it. I make it as called for usually in a Half size steam pan.  I tried mixing it all together and making it, it isn't as good.

This is on Rimfire Central a Rimfiire forum.

No, that was the nice thing about it, if you are doing low carb you can replace the sugar, and if you need gluten free, like my last GF's daughter it works for that also.
