Title: Smoke output on the Grid Iron
Post by: RoadRunner18 on August 17, 2020, 10:42:01 PM
I am seriously considering a Blaz'n Grid Iron.  Are you pleased with the smoke output from your Grid Iron, without using a smoke tube?  Does it produce smoke at all temps or only at certain temps.  I currently own a Traeger Timberline 1300 which produces decent smoke from 160 to 225.

I had a Blaz'n Grand Slam with same controls and had fair smoke at 200. The newer control for Blaz'n may provide better smoke at low temps, but don't know from experience. They are great pits otherwise.

My gridiron smokes a decent amount in that low range. not to little and not to much. Different pellets make a bit of difference. PerfectMix works good for me.
