Title: Pies for the Community
Post by: Kristin Meredith on November 22, 2022, 08:06:33 AM
It is that time of year again when the Culpeper community comes together to provide Thanksgiving meals for those in need.

On Wednesday, Manna Ministries will serve a turkey and fixin's lunch for all who come.  Also on Wed., the Culpeper Food Closet will distribute a minimum of 500 family packages with turkeys and all the sides so that families in need can prepare a Thanksgiving dinner.  Today, I am delivering 4 pumpkin pies to the Presbyterian church Fellowship Hall.  They have a "pie drive" and ask for the community to make pies to be distributed to those in need. It is amazing the hundreds of pies which are donated!!  Culpeper is a very caring community.

Nice pies. It is great that they do things like this for the people there and even better that so many help support it.
