Title: Ahh, the 1st of the Year...
Post by: Bentley on July 13, 2023, 05:10:15 PM
Seems like I have been waiting forever!  One word, Ciabatta!  Good but I need a little more flavor.  I think this was off a Super Sioux!

I hope I can get some buddies to give me some fresh tomatoes.  So much better than store bought.  I have about 4-5# of bacon in the freezer too.  That would be a great way to break in my Weber griddle.

Tomatoes on toasted and buttered english muffins, with salt and pepper. I go to the local farmers markets and buy them.

My Cherokee Purple plants have already stopped producing thanks to the heat.  I had the best crop ever this year except bugs got to some of them.  I'm trying to decide if I want to try and keep them alive for a fall crop.  Only about eight more weeks of triple digit heat it looks like.
