Title: Places to Eat in Cincinnati??
Post by: Bar-B-Lew on July 15, 2023, 12:42:45 PM
I am thinking of making a long weekend drive to Cincinnati in late August.  Anyone have any recommendations on places to eat there - BBQ, Steaks, Burgers, Pizza, etc.  Not a fan of fish/seafood, Asian, Middle Eastern, etc food styles.

Didn't really eat out much when I lived there.  Pizza and occasion Cincinnati Chili.
If you've never had it, you might want to try the SkyLine Chili.
I called it spaghetti.  Haha   Served over noodles and sauce had a bit of cinnamon flavor to it.
Nothing like a Texas style Chili.

Pizza we used to get was Donato's.
Guess that was primarily because it was about 3 minutes from the house.  It was good as I recall.  Been a long time.

I was there quite a few times when I was working and twice for job interviews when I was in college, but nothing memorable.

Jeff Ruby restaurants are well respected and his steak house is very good.  This is white tablecloth and higher end $$$.  Try Skyline just for kicks and giggles.
