Title: The Hot Dog Thread
Post by: Bar-B-Lew on August 02, 2023, 05:20:58 PM
I got this hot dog at the Brouwerij De Prael in Amsterdam.  It was so good that I went back another day for a second one.  Well, the beers were really good too.  They had one called Liquid Bacon that quickly became one of my favorites.  It was similar to a German Rauchbier that was smokey, but less smokey than some Rauchbiers that I have had.  Probably the best hot dog with kraut that I have ever eaten.

Hot dogs are a thing that goes best with an event. My favorite hot dogs are the ones that are cooked on the roving range during the archery tournaments that I shoot. It is great to be able to grab a hot dog off the grill to help recharge during the competition. The same applies to golf course hot dogs. Hot dogs and sporting events are a classic. Where you eat the hot dog is equally, or more important than the hot dog itself.

I like to keep them fairly simple, grilled onions and peppers, and sweet pickle relish.
