Forgot I took these last week in Charlottesville.  How do they compare what around you?

Our prices are 35-40% higher. It doesn’t make any sense being in Kansas?
Quite frustrating for sure.

That is the same pricing that we have here in AZ.

We have a new grocery store in town. This is their third store in the area. The original has been around for decades and is known for their meats. They have a wide variety and usually fairly good deals. The last time I looked, I was surprised to see choice brisket at $3.50 a lb.

Our Costco in Portland/Vancouver are pretty close to those same prices.   Local butcher shops are somewhat higher.

When I go to Sam's Club I go early in the morning (8 AM)  I go straight to the meat section to look at the reduced meat yellow stickers.  Everything else is too expensive.  The briskets are never reduced and I never see anyone picking up one.  I guess these are being ground up  for ground beef instead of reducing the price.  The prime brisket is $4.98/lb.
