What Sides Are You Having for Thanksgiving?
« on: November 17, 2017, 07:29:08 AM »

Bent is responsible for the turkey in the Memphis Pro and that leaves space in the kitchen for the sides.  We have dressing (usually two types -- "regular"and cornbread), mashed potatoes, gravy, cranberries, sweet potato casserole (the Montpelier Cookbook recipe with lots of butter, brown sugar, eggs and pecans -- yummy!!), watermelon pickles, fresh hot rolls and SIL is bringing a fruit, cream cheese, jello salad.  I think I will skip the green veggie this year, just too many other things to eat.

Dessert is pumpkin and pecan pies with either ice cream or whipped cream.

What about the rest of you folks?
