Granddaughters 1st Thanksgiving.
« on: November 19, 2017, 07:31:58 AM »

The battle of the birds.
Mine brined, spatchcocked and on the DB.
Gwens, brined and ready for the oven, all the traditional sides plus Gwens cherry pie, she is bummed out about the lattice faux pas.
Then a day of Grandbaby, oh yeah!

I'll bet both will be good. One may look better after the cook. Taste wise I would lean towards spatchcocked...

As I read I thought, "What's he referring to, 'lattice faux pas.'"  Then I spotted it.  One of my business mentors used to tell me, "Perfect is the enemy of good enough."
