  • I use some really hot pepper sauces in fairly significant amounts, but it is always for the flavor with the heat being a side issue. My current favorites are Half Moon Bay Iguana Radioactive Atomic Pepper Sauce and XXX Habanero Pepper Sauce. I find that I have less joint pain in my hands when I get a lot of capsaicin.

The same company that makes the XXX Habanero makes a Scorpion pepper sauce that I use which is the 750k scoville.

Every year we get our kids something rediculous hot for their stockings. For some reason they eat the stuff. I was going to buy them those chips but they jumped up tp $70+ on amazon. I’ll pass.

For me, I love hot IF there’s flavor and it still depends on the food. For soup I like a little el-yucateco (about 11,000 scoville) for ribs Rufus Teague’s touch O heat and sometimes their Blazn hot. Chicken gets maple syrup and waffles. Burgers get cheese and once in a while PB.
