Leg support
« on: November 27, 2017, 03:19:57 PM »

The legs on my older Texas are starting to worry me.  There is a little bump that it goes over each time it goes in and out of my garage.  I worry about the legs’ longevity without extra support.

Is the best option to buy a lower shelf?  I don’t see myself putting anything on the shelf, so I am considering more creative options.  Has anyone done other types of bracing to tie together the lower end?  If so, I’d love to see pictures.

I had the same concerns w/ my Lil'Tex..Was going to fab an "X" brace attached to each leg and bolted where the members cross..Being fussy ,I wanted stainless = $$$. I finally gave it away after 5 years.. The long and short of it is; the tray is the easiest to install and least expensive..
