  • Hello,

I have two Traeger Lil'Tex Elites, but they are going on ten years old.  I find myself repairing them more frequently then I would like, and not knowing if the machine would work had removed the joy from cooking.  So, I bought myself a birthday present a few weeks ago!  I even had the approval of my wife!

There was a short delay processing my order, but it was worked out after a couple of days.  They shipped the unit on Thursday, and I received it before noon the next day.

The assembly went well.  I think I was done in about 2 hours while working alone.  I've already had some good cooks;  first cook was pork loin, other cooks were ribs, meat loaf, turkey breast, many versions of chicken, and pig candy.  I need to get the diffuser out to scrape off some of the gunk.

Here are a few pictures during the assembly:

The box was a bit beat up.  One of the long side pieces had a scratch on it, but that one volunteered to be on the back of the smoker and I never see it now.

Here are all of the parts.  The dreaded laser film is still attached.  It wasn't that bad to remove.  I decided to remove it as I needed the part instead of doing it all at once.

    Fully assembled!
