  • Thought I would share, my daughter has been begging me to make fried chicken using crushed up Hot Cheetos.  I broke down.  3 lunch size bags of flaming hot Cheetos into the Ninja, worked very well I must say.  I mixed in a 1/2 cup of Masa Flour then salt and peppered to taste.  Dip the chicken (after wash) into egg, then into Cheeto mixture then into the fryer which was set at 350.  Turned out pretty stinking good.

Of course I had to make my own mixture for my low carb fried chicken.  Very good also.

  • Did it give it a cheeto taste or just crunch.

  • I only took a couple of bites because of the low carb thing, but I could not taste the Cheeto, just the crunch.

Just curious about the low carb chicken. How did you do that?

  • Did you use corn masa or masa for flour tortillas (masa harina)?

  • You got me thinking of a hot Cheetos crust for a granny smith apple and cheddar pie.     :pig:

Y'all did a nice twist on the chicken.
