Started the weekend early yesterday after working about 21 days straight.  Went to Morro Bay had some turf and surf, then dropped off my taxes.  Decided to head south and ended up at Chumash Casino and got a room.  Casino was packed last night so I relaxed in the room and watched a movie, then to bed.  Woke up early and ate breakfast and decided to try my luck.  Sat down at a Walking Dead slot machine, just because it looked cool.  After about 10 spins this happens:

First time I have ever left a casino with more money than started with.  Took that money and left.  Found two Memphis dealers and paid them a visit.  There wasn’t much negotiating on their part so no grill, yet.

Whatever you end up paying for your grill, you've got 90% plus in your pocket.  What a great way to start your day and with a new Pitt coming your way soon!

Congratulations on the win    I worked at a casino for 6years and watched many people win and then give it right back trying to win more. I would always tell people go buy something you always wanted and enjoy the windfall

Many years ago I went to Vegas with my then gf and her family. One day we took a trip to Sparks, and her and I hit up a pop shop corner store. We wandered around a bit and I settled at a slot by a window around the corner from the door. Back then, ya had dollar coins for feeding. I put in a few bucks and BAM! I happily scooped out my winnings. Put in a few more, and BAM! More scooping. This went on for some time until I had to ask the owner for a bucket to hold my returns. He was not happy. I played that machine to the point I had to tell the owner that I didn't get my winnings back (ran it dry). He gave me the difference and put an 'out of order' sign on machine.

Paid for a week vacation!

About 12 years ago I took a business trip to Vegas and a coworker went to the craps table at Binion’s with $1,000. While getting drunk as a skunk he turned that into about $50K.
Another coworker called his wife with the news. She immediately got on the first direct flight from Pittsburgh. Several hours later, he’s still at the tables and she walks in. His confused expression was priceless. At that point he was at $84K. She promptly put just about all of it in a bucket and cashed it in. She took casino payment in the form of a check (cashiers I guess) and immediately Fed Ex’d it back home. They both flew home the next day.
She deserved an award. He was hammered and heading toward catastrophe.

His drunk and my drunk were not the same...
