  • I just got some of these.  after cooking some chicken legs and theghs they were pretty messy.  How do you guys clean your from mats?

  • no big deal.  I just wanted to be sure.  I thought there might be some cleaner I had not heard of yet. After all... I did spell thigh wrong the 1st in the first post.

    I assumed that is what you meant, and already tried it.  worked well.

  • Soak in hot soapy water in a cookie sheet for an hour and wipe clean with a sponge.

  •  Frog mats are made of Teflon Coated fiberglass. So treat accordingly. A good soak in soapy water and gentle brushing usually does it.. Think, Teflon coated cookware.

  • Soak in soapy water, gently brush off the gross stuff, then into the dishwasher.  No wear so far doing that.

    I feel the same way.  I bought some on ebay from China for a little over $1 each that fit great in my MAK side chamber and in my dehydrator trays.  I came close to just throwing them out rather than cleaning them.

  • My wife puts them in the dishwasher - have had them for years and no evident wear.
