PRIME strips 12.99/lb and Choice strips 9.99/lb at Costco. All the primes were gone when I shopped, but some of the CHOICE strips looked very marbled and at $9.99, I could not resist. Have to be careful and be picky to get uniform thickness, and good parts of the strips.  Some of the offerings were not acceptable, i.e. small end pieces, uneven thickness, too much fat cap, etc. I got a nice pack of 4 (4.5lbs).  Now vacuum sealed and aging in fridge. Each one will feed both of us as we both are limiting portions and I think 8+ oz each is enough for me. We both like the same doneness so I don't precut them before grilling. Bon Apatit!

If I had the room in my freezers, I would buy at least 10 of those strip steaks at $5/#

We never seem to get deals like this in Mayberry Safeway.  Our current offering is Choice Chuck for $3.99/lb., not bad.  And Prime Strip for $16.99/lb.

$3.99/lb for prime brisket at Costco today. Bought a 14.6 lb after searching for one with decent thickness on the flat.  Will still have to trim it a little shorter to avoid a hard crusted end. Gonna go for it on early Sat. AM.

I picked one up a couple of weeks ago for same price, just because.  I really have to stop doing that.  Have two briskets in freezer now.

I got four of them when it was $2.99 here in Iowa. Currently one in the fridge thawing. Need to make room if I get a whole ribeye. :)

I bought a Costco Prime Brisket 15 lbs.  How much will it weigh after trimmed down to cook?  (1/4" fat on one side only)
