What can anyone tell me about this unit.  Someone has one for sale for $150 on CL but it might need some work.  I was looking for a back up unit for my office.  Is it digital? Can you  get a digital up grade, is it hard to put a new hot rod in? Any info would be helpful.

These Louisiana's are real easy to work on. Heat rod is real simple, Loosen up the screws holding the heat rod tight, Unscrew the outside panel on the hopper & remove it, reach in & pull it out. Real simple. Your best bet would be to call Louisiana's customer service if you have other problems, They are VERY helpful!
