other uses for your Pellet grill

Probably a crazy question, however, I was just wondering if anyone has ever used charcoal or briquettes in their pellet grill?

I'm pretty sure I'm going to use charcoal in my Bullseye at some point.  I'll be using the pellets to light it.

Have you ever tried mixing in charcoal pellets with your regular pellets?  I haven't tried it yet but it might get you what you are looking for.
