  • Thanks for sharing Lew. I love to see the different versions on a classic cheesesteak!  Living in Norcal, it is hard to find a good cheesesteak, but o couple of guys from Philly started a chain here and they are actually OK. They made me like hot and sweet peppers on a cheesesteak. My grandparents were Sicilian immigrants and actually owned a general store on 9th street in Philly (were Pat's and Genos are).  My parents are both from Philly, so I have had my share of great cheesesteaks, but none with gravy. I will definitely try next time I am in the area. And I love the 101 top pizza article thar followed in the link!  Thanks for sharing!

    I love Philly Cheese steaks and having bacon on it would only make it better.    It has been a long time since I had a great Philly Cheese steak.  I have been smoking four pounds of bacon about every two months.
