  • I've only had 5 of the 20.  Who knows now when I will ever get back to Chicago on a regular basis to be able to try some of these others.

  • Al's looks like it is pot roast.
    Johnnie's looks good, but needs more beef.
    Portillo's I have had and at least at the suburban location we ate at, not for me.
    Buona was a top 5 for me.
    Patio needs more Giardiniera.

  • A California Cheese Steak from Biaggio's Pizzeria, Allentown, PA - This is the small size.  Large is 50% bigger.

  • That looks good....and messy. I add banana peppers to mine occasionally as well. Looks like tomato, lettuce, and pickle as well? Anything else?

  • beef, grilled onions, probably american cheese topped with mayo, lettuce, tomato, pickles and banana peppers on I believe an Amoroso 12" roll

  • I'll take mine with onions, cheese and green (bell) peppers.  Plus as Bentley said no pickles!!
