The poster Queball refers to was Shelly (Schachter).  His book was Feeding Alice, A Love Story, I believe.

We have been away up in cape cod home now and like you i suspect Maria will have a greater impact then Jose.  will just have to wait and see.

Indeed that was the title of the book.  I purchased a copy but am ashamed to say I have not used it much.  Just don't have the time I used to for cooking & grilling.  I will try and revive things as I edge closer to retirement.
