Annual Turkey Fry
« on: November 19, 2018, 03:08:17 PM »

Been doing this for between 15 and 20 years, we can't remember for sure. Once I got the Yoder, we expanded the menu to include smoked turkey as well. On Saturday, we had 49 friends, family members, co-workers, and neighbors this year. I ended up frying 3 and smoking 2. Ended up with enough leftovers to supply Sunday's Broncos watch party at a friend's.

That looks like great turkey and a great table of food.

A beautiful bent glass cabinet in the background.  I grew up with one.  It must be 75 years old and my sister still has it.

As a former Insurance Agent, this is the guy I wanted to sell a HO-3 policy to!  A home owner that has a clue!  Although I am a little disappointed at proximity to fence and the cardboard!    :pig:

Sunday's Broncos watch party at a friend's.

nice turkey sure, but for a pretty disappointing season, Sundays game was THE highlight for the Broncos.

Given the freezing rain, the lack of non-skid cardboard was a larger hazard than any potential fire :D

I maintain that we're one of the best bad teams in the league.  We've been in almost every game.
