I took it from 9” to 11”. I think I could have gone up to 12.5 or 13.

Jmeitz hasn't been on this site for more than a year.  You're not likely to get a timely answer.

I think I can locate a fabrication shop that will give you a quote if you send them a design.  They also have design service.

BTW, I don't want to be unkind, but is it no longer considered gauche to ask something's cost?

Of course you will get a response from me.  I purchased for around $250.   The issue I have noticed is that the steel above the fire pot does not do well with extreme heat of the fire pot above it and you have to season it very often to keep it from rusting and flaking.   Thinking of putting my original stainless grates back on.
