Physical Therapy and Grilling

I have been in physical therapy for months as a result of a climbing injury. This is normally not food related, unless, as in this case, the therapy office is next door to a market that has great deals on fresh fish. So following therapy I check out the fish. This is what I grilled tonight (sorry still no pictures).

Swordfish steaks
Mini lobsters
Talapia fillets
Stuffed mushrooms
asparagus
zucchini
brussel sprouts.

And for the less healthy contribution, I grilled bratwurst with peppers and onions.

The trick is that I grilled the brauts first on a cast iron griddle and then cooked the talapia on the grease left behind. The talapia turned out yummy, if not a bit less healthy than it could have been.

I have found my Thermapen to be indispensable when cooking things like fish and lobster. I know the temperature that I want for the food to turn out moist and flavorful.

Did the talapia taste like brats? Not sure how it couldn’t.

The talapia was infused with a bit of flavor from the brauts. It actually tasted pretty good.
