Pit Boss feedback
« on: June 09, 2019, 03:19:19 PM »

So I have been away from this board since we moved out of state and am looking for a new cheaper grill.  Would like feedback on the Pit Boss 820 (Lowe's $499). I want something that I can grill on high heat as well as low and slow.  I am a former Yoder owner but don't want to spend that much this time around.

Do you still live in Ohio? Menards has them $100 cheaper. I've had my 820 for 4 1/2 years, and it's a very good smoker. I can also cook pizzas at 400 degrees, but my grill doesn't have the flame broiler drip pan, so I can't give any advice on hot grilling.

No Menards near you, unfortunately, but Walmart has them for $450. If it's just the two of you, you maybe be able get by with a 700. (Cheaper)
