A long long time ago, the first time I had to pick a user name for the internet, I selected Hugh but it was taken, so just added the first three letters of my last name and, being inherently lazy, never thought to change it.

Bob it is. I used this a long time ago when into the aquarium hobby. Funny thing is, it's a South African aquatic fern. I'd no idea but kept the name.

I had a neighborhood party at my house and as you could imagine I served different types of BBQ.  One of my neighbors affectionately called by Bar-B-Lew.  I thought it made a good user name on a BBQ forum.

My last name begins with McF, so when playing hockey in my early teens, guys start calling me Mick which turned into McJagger, so I’ll answer to Mick, Jags, Jagger or McJagger

I used this name many years ago when I worked in the mountains running a backpacking program. This was pre internet days.

When I first tried to use it on the internet, spelling out David made it too long so I settled for the middle initial.

That should be enough of a clue for you to figure it out, if you have not already. And if not, check out the personal text under my avatar.

I've always read Bobitis as Bob-itis lol!  IE; I have Bobitis but I'm taking penicillin.

The McJagger name makes me laugh every time.

Back in the 80's (when I met my wife), the old video games allowed you to enter in three initials when you got a high score.  The initials I always used were "TLK" which stands for Tim Loves Kathy
