75th Birthday dinner
« on: September 10, 2019, 05:47:06 PM »

I celebrated my 75th with a mushroom pizza appetizer, prime rib cooked on the MAK 2 Star and served with mash potatoes, mushroom gravy and broccoli.  The wine was 2015 cabernet sauvignon.

Happy Birthday.

Is that a Jim Shore table?  It's stunning!  Edit, maybe sticks.com?  Trying to figure this out, my wife would love one.

It is a Sticks.  We purchased our's a number of years back when we visited the Biltmore Estate in Asheville NC.  It was an impulse purchase.  Well not really when I saw it I really loved the design so I asked my wife to take a look at it.  Once she saw it  I knew it we would purchase one.  We really love it.  It has held up really well.  We use it everyday to include having our grandchildren using it when they are here.

I'm glad to see that you had a happy milestone birthday.  It was an elegant meal served in an elegant setting.

I want to thank all those who wish me a happy 75th Birthday. However as I briefly look back over my life even though the 75th is a great milestone it barely comes close to what has made my life happy. I was fortunate to have the greatest parents in the world as they always put their children first, two lovely sisters, and, married to my Wife, Claire, for fifty years. She has brought be immense happiness throughout the years and we have three beautiful children, who all are giving back to their community in their own way. And then of course there are our five grandchildren who keep us young at heart.

Yes I have been truly blessed these pass 75 years
