Frozen Babybacks

 Has anyone ever BBQ frozen or partially frozen baby back ribs. If so how much longer will it take to complete. Thanks

I haven’t ever put them on frozen, but I don’t think it would add very much time to the cook because ribs defrost very quickly.    If I’m in a pinch for time, I just stick them in the sink with float them in some cold water and in 1/2 hour they are thawed.

If they are frozen solid, it will add about an hour.  Let me clarify that, if you are cooking them at a grate temperature of 275° the preceding will be true.

I have done it. I normally start my ribs at 150 for an hour and then go to 200 for the next 2-3 hours and finish at 250 for another hour, sauce, and then 30 more minutes. I also spritz with apple juice throughout the process.  The only thing I've done is just push the temp up to 200 from my normal 180 for 2 hours.

Been a while since I have done it, but it works well, you need to put them on and after about 30 minutes you can season as they have defrosted a bit. I think it took 45 minutes to an hour longer.
