  • Hello everyone!

I divide my time between Kent in SE England and Harare in Zimbabwe. I own a number of barbecue gadgets including a WSM and I've just bought a Traeger Timberline 850 which will be delivered thus week (fingers crossed!)

I'm hoping to learn a lot here and contribute once my knowledge grows.

  • Howdy David and welcome to the community.

Pray tell... what drives you to share time between England and Zimbabwe? That seems a rather odd combination.

  • Welcome, David.

Put two pins in the pellet fan map.

Please post Zimbabwean (smoker) recipes for us.  That would be soooo interesting.  Breads, meats, vegetables that could be smoke-roasted would be wonderful.  I can hardly wait.

    EDIT:  Corrected ignorant spelling.

    That's what I figured. I bet she's pretty too.

I'm so looking forward to some other food preps from other countries. Us folks in the US get easily pigeon holed in our gastronomic ventures.

Looking forward to some other ideas/methods/delights from another region of our increasingly smaller planet.
