  • One of our favorite steaks is the NY Strip.  My wife and I like it better then Ribeye  So at her request I was asked to serve prime NY Strip with Steak Fries, mushrooms cooked with white wine and broccoli. The NY strip was cooked SV to 129 and seared for 1 minute per side.

  • replace the broccoli with green beans and you have my favorite meal.  very nice looking steak.

  • Many steakhouses have steaks in SV ready to be "finished" when ordered.  IDK why it isn't more popular.  I tell friends about it and they think it's not worthwhile.  That plate is perfect for us.

    I don't use SV for much however IMO you really can't beat the way it cooks steaks
