Went back to Restaurant Depot in Raleigh yesterday. The beef inventory was very sparse, mostly just those huge chuck tender and flank steak packages.

However, the price tags on the shelf indicated that brisket was back down to $3.35/lb.

They had whole packer corned beef briskets again.

Any suggestions on what to do with chuck tenders?  Not quite sure what the tender is.

Were those case prices or individual cut prices?

Brisket prices seem about what they are here.  Baby back ribs are about $1.25/# cheaper (at least a week ago they were).  Did they have any wings?  Those still seem hard to find.  Not sure why beef and pork are so high.  They were supposed to drop unless there is still some backlog from that producer that was hacked a few weeks ago.

We went shopping last Friday to get some chicken drumsticks for making lollipops and there were plenty wings there. Don't recall the price though...
Store is Smith's (aka Kroger).

Those were individual cut prices.

I did not look at the chicken section so not sure about wings inventory. However, wings have been available as usual in my local grocery stores (I shop on the weekend).

Did they have any wings?  Those still seem hard to find.

I purchased a case of party wings from RD in Charlotte, NC about a month ago. The case price was $158.00 for 40 pounds. Pre meat increase I would get a case for around $80.00. The price was almost identical at Chef Store (US Foods).

My brother goes back and forth on thinking of removing them from his menu until the costs come back down.  That is when he can find them.  He goes through 3-5 cases in the 18 hours he is open Fri-Sun.

Both Chef Store and RD had party wings but not as many. I believe both had a limit of 2 cases one can purchase. I'm lucky in the fact that I had a big catering order and the customer understood I had to charge more due to meat prices increase. I hope meat prices come back down but I'm not sure how close it will get back.
