  • Boy I am so glad to find this place,  I have been having withdraw since the other site went down.  I am a retired farmer.  I live in Illinois in the summer but spend the winter in south Texas.  Cooking and smoking has become my hobby passion.  David

  • What was your favorite Tractor?

Bentley, my favorite tractor was the one that pulled the motorcycle out of the quicksand along the Missouri River bottoms south of Bismarck, ND.   It was so old that it had no paint—just rust.  It was a single cylinder that the farmer started by spinning a PTO wheel by hand.  But it's still my favorite.

  • That is a real tractor.  I had a 1950 JD  M Series when I lived in Madera.  And an LS now for light stuff.  My Uncles were dairy farmers and had a big Oliver 1860 I think, but still nothing like that JD.
