  • Why did they put on a climate control setting for someone to mess it up???  The grill has a temp probe and knows exactly how cold it is and should be able to control pellet flow accordingly.  Why would that be so hard?

  • I've wondered the same thing.  Especially on a GMG since the controller can be turned on without the fan or auger running for a while to let it read the ambient temp.  On my P&S as soon as I hit the power button the fan and auger start.  I know it's comparing apples and oranges, but I've pondered on it.

If you have a wifi controller, you can change the climate setting in the app.  All it does is cause problems if it's changed.  The pellet feed rate is too high and it smothers the fire then fills the barrel with pellets.

  • I just keep it in the middle of the app. Was just getting to much temp variation side to side and temp calibration issues everytime I change the setting. Kinda of a pain in the butt.
