So we found some extremely sweet strawberries and decided to try sorbet. Oh mercy, Gwennie added lemon juice, lime juice and some rind from both. She added some sugar to the strawberries as she gently heated them. She then added the two citrus juices and rinds then chilled it. Into the ice cream maker to churn. Oh my is it ever good, fresh, sweet, tart and lite in texture.

That looks really good, and seems pretty easy to make.  Nice.

I like tart and sweet mix. Strawberry and rhubarb pies has alway been one of my favorites.  I am not sure about sorbet, I am not sure I have had it.  It looks and sounds great. 

I will take real fruit sorbet over ice cream any day!
