Mayberry Tri-tip Griled on Memphis Pro.
« on: August 29, 2021, 12:59:19 PM »

Grilled on Memphis Pro, about 2.25bs after trim.  10 minutes at 650° side one, flip, turn to 350° and cook till it is 135° internal temperature (IT for our New comers), about another 20 minutes.  Rest for 10 minutes.  Had a little last night, no where near as tender as Mayberry Tri-tip #1, but good favor.  This is being prepped for French Dip this evening! Sliced on ChefChoice 610 on the #3 setting!

Yes, that looks perfect.

What rub did you use?  Did you use a lot or, maybe just one side?

Kristin handle both the trimming and the seasoning so she is out looking at a puppy with a friend that's taking it back to Maine. I'll ask her to post to when she gets back.

I used Montreal Steak Seasoning, both sides.  I was a bit too heavy with it this go round.

An Amoroso roll would have made it perfect, but the beef was good!
