  • That looks really good. I am overdue for some salmon. How did you prep it?

  • It looks like you are getting clouds on your side of the Santa Ana Mountains as well. They are helping to keep the temperature down.

  • Looks great!
It's kinda funny, I don't care for grilled salmon, but love smoked salmon cold.

  • Great looking meal. Shrimp are delicate and easily over cooked, how do you time/monitor them on the grill?

Baked the salmon at 375 for about 20 minutes until internal of 145. Some say take to 130 then take it off and let it come to 145 as it rests. It was plenty moist and not dry.
I used a glaze of the following:
Equal parts soy sauce and Trader Joe’s Glaze, lemon zest and a little lemon juice, tablespoon of maple syrup. Brushed it on several times during the cook.

Grilled the shrimp and asparagus at the same time at 500 for 6 minutes. I flipped the shrimp after the first 3 minutes. On wood skewered that I had soaked in water.

We should try and meet some time. I would enjoy that. I am in Murrieta.
We are headed for a cool-down next week. Down to an overnight low of 39 on Tuesday.  Waaaaay cooler than last year.
