Feeding America with Jersey Mike's this Weekend
« on: November 20, 2021, 01:19:12 PM »

Jersey Mike's is donating 20% of sales from this Sat and Sun to Feeding America.  They have guaranteed $2.5 million, but I hope they raise more.  Every dollar raised pays for 10 meals for those in need -- usually children.  I bought 2 giants which will be lunch today and tomorrow. Please help if you feel moved to do so.

I really like toasted subs but have never tried Jersey Mike's. I'll give it a try soon.

Thanks for the reminder.  I bought a regular Big Kahuna and a regular #13.  Still have free Saturday delivery.  Should be here in about 45 minutes.

Thanks for posting this. I had not heard about it. Feeding America is a great organization and well worth supporting.

This is a good reason to hit the Jersey Mike's that just opened near my house. Unfortunately, they replaced the Dickey's BBQ that went out of business.

Dickey's was good for a quick brisket lunch.

I will definitely try a JM sub when I am close to one.  The closest is 40 miles away from us but we often are in that area.  I remember someone saying they have gluten free bread and I checked their menu and sure enough they do.  I've never had a sub in my life.  I have no idea what to expect or which one I would get.  How are their cheesesteaks?

Just ordered a Famous Philly and a Bacon Ranch Chicken Cheese Steak.
Pick up in a couple hours.

Chicken Cheese Steak is on the right.

I got my turkey and provolone on wheat bread with lettuce, tomatoes, onions, pickles and extra pepperoncini's. No spreads. That's the way I like sandwiches.

I don't have one close to me. Or I would be there. I think the closest  one is maybe an hour away, I pass one when I go to Pittsburgh.
