Sam's Club Pre-Cooked Prime Rib
« on: December 28, 2021, 10:40:23 AM »

I didn't want to be messing around cooking for Christmas so I bought meats that I just needed to reheat.  I put this on the Memphis at 275° for about 2 hours and then put in a cooler in a covered pan for about an hour before slicing.  I have not tried it yet, but my Dad and brother liked it.  And, my Dad doesn't give out light compliments.  He will tell me if there is something he doesn't like about what I serve.

Gutsy move Maverick.  I do not think I would trust anyone else to cook my $14/lb beef!

I would be hesitant as well but sounds like they enjoyed it and it looks pretty good…..win-win.

I froze the rest of the slices after vac sealing.  I will eat them this winter for several meals and I through a few in a bag in the freezer to give to my Dad for a meal for my parents.
