Thermoworks Waterproof Probe
« on: April 03, 2023, 11:21:11 AM »

Anybody tried these ?
I think they are great.  More flexible that the standard probes.
Bought some for my Smokes and Chef Alarm.

Only drawback is that the probe is a bit fatter.
So if you put probes through holes in the side of your smoker, you may have to drill them out a bit for it to fit.
Not a deal breaker for me.  I drilled out the hole in my CampChef Smoker.

I have been using those for quite a while. I like the thin probe for steaks or anything that is thin.

I believe if you were to use a Thermoworks  Pro Cable Extension you wouldn't have to enlarge the hole in your pit.
