  • SV pork chops for dinner with air fyer potatoes and brocolli.  The chops were first salted overnight and then prior to cooking added salt, pepper and a curry blend.  Before SVing I seared both sides for about 1 minute and then cooked at 144 for 1 1/2 hours.  Then seared again before serving.

I peel cut a small piece of the end so it is flat.  Easier to cut into slices. Cut in half then again to size that you want, drop in water until ready to cook.  Drain and spin dry.  Add EVOO and any spice like bay seasoning.  I also add cut garlic and onion.  I set air fryer temp between 370 and 390 for about 25 minutes or until cooked thru.  I also toss a few times during cooking

  • So do you apply seasoning before the ending sear too?

I do not.  I heat the skillet and add the juices to include any garlic etc that I might have used SVing.  I also use a tablespoon of butter and toss the juices along with the butter on top as it sears
